COVID Revealed We Can Work Remote

For most people the shift to remote work was a challenge, but for those of us who have worked entirely or mostly remotely, or travel significantly as part of their work, the shift during COVID was hardly noticeable.  While our colleagues struggled, for us it was just another Tuesday.

As a consultant the work is essentially “remote” even if called upon to audit a specific location or project manage a specific team.  Sometimes you are given a company email address, sometimes you use your own email address; sometimes access to SharePoint and other applications is easily facilitated by the IT department, sometimes collaboration is more challenging.

It is possible to outsource teams like Internal Quality Auditor, Project Management Office, and Customer QBR Presenter thanks to the technology we have available today.
